Clark University’s Marketing and Communications department seeks to fill the position of CMS Administrator. Reporting to the Director of Digital Experience & Analytics, and as part of the Marketing and Communications team, the CMS Administrator will manage the day-to-day operations and technical support of the university’s Drupal content management system. The CMS Administrator will identify opportunities to improve the web structure, layout, and web templates, as appropriate. In addition, this position will work with internal clients to evaluate their user needs and maximize opportunities in the university’s web-based presence.
Duties and Responsibilities
Included in a range of responsibilities, the CMS Administrator will develop new pages, make changes to existing modules, develop views/widgets/content templates; manage roles/permissions, redirect/path aliases, taxonomies or tags; troubleshoot; and research new modules or Drupal enhancements. This position will set deadlines and assign tasks while collaborating with team members, internal clients, and vendors, as well as perform other duties as assigned.
The successful candidate will have a bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education, training and/or experience from which comparable knowledge, skill and abilities have been attained, and a minimum 3 years’ experience with content management systems (Drupal experience preferred).
In addition, the candidate will have the proven ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines and work in a fast-paced team environment.
