Associate Director of the Clark Fund 199771
Clark University’s University Advancement seeks to fill the position of Associate Director of the Clark Fund. Reporting to the Director of the Clark Fund, the successful candidate will work collaboratively with the University Advancement team to cultivate alumni engagement, solicit new and increased gifts, and steward donors.
Duties and Responsibilities
Included in a range of responsibilities, the Associate Director will manage a cohort of B.A. alumni classes, including Graduates of the Last Decade (G.O.L.D), for solicitation, volunteer development and recruiting volunteer committees for 5-6 reunion classes. In addition, the Associate Director will manage the student phonathon program and Senior Class Gift. The Associate Director will travel, mostly in New England and New York, for face-to-face solicitation meetings, and will conduct telephone solicitation, as well as other duties as assigned. Some evening and weekend work is required.
The successful candidate will have a bachelor’s degree and 3+ years’ experience in fundraising (prior work in student fundraising is preferred) with high ethical standards and an imaginative and energetic approach to annual fundraising. The candidate will have strong oral and written communication skills, be self-motivated and goal and deadline-oriented.
Technical qualifications include proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
This is a full-time, 40 hours per week, 12-month position with excellent benefits, which include employee and family tuition benefits, 4 weeks’ vacation, generous retirement plan, free use of campus fitness center and many more.
