The Nutrition Policy Institute at University of California Agriculture and Natural Resources is embarking upon an exciting new research and evaluation plan to better understand the effects of USDA's Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program Education (SNAP-Ed) in California under contract with The Department of Public Health's (CDPH) Nutrition Education and Obesity Prevention Branch. CDPH and other California agencies implement SNAP-Ed programming to improve nutrition and physical activity for SNAP-eligible Californians by conducting multi-faceted, multi-sector community-based interventions.
The Epidemiologist is needed to provide leadership for the design and analysis of nutrition education and obesity prevention research and evaluation efforts for California's SNAP-Ed program.
