School of Nuclear Engineering
The School of Nuclear Engineering at Purdue University invites applicants for several faculty positions at the Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor level.
Purdue University seeks to attract exceptional candidates with interests and expertise in all fields of nuclear engineering and related science, including nuclear materials, reactor physics, nuclear radiation science, nuclear fuel, reactor thermal hydraulics, fusion, reactor safety, artificial intelligence, reactor control systems, nuclear non-proliferation and computational physics.
The successful candidates will conduct original research, will advise graduate students, will teach undergraduate and graduate nuclear engineering core courses, and will perform service both at the School and University levels.

The School of Nuclear Engineering at Purdue is currently undergoing extensive growth, with an expanding number of faculties that are opening new and exciting research directions.
Successful candidates must hold a Ph.D. degree in the related field or discipline and demonstrate excellent potential to build an independent research program at the forefront of their field, as well as potential to educate and mentor students.
Candidates with experience working with diverse groups of students, faculty and staff and the ability to contribute to an inclusive climate are particularly encouraged to apply.
